Agreement between the Maison and the Collector
These Terms of Use govern the relationship between Maison Vaelric (the brand of Breath 21 Ltd., registered at The Penthouse, Carolina Court, Giuseppe Cali Street, Ta' Xbiex, XBX 1425, Malta) and any individual or entity expressing interest in Maison Vaelric timepieces. The Maison operates as a curated atelier: watches are designed in-house, shared in narrative form, and released progressively. By submitting an inquiry, request, or pre-order signal, the collector agrees to these terms unless otherwise arranged in a separate written agreement.
Design stage and pre-order commitments
All timepieces listed on the site are in the design, validation, or pre-production phase. The Maison collects expressions of interest to understand demand. Once a design reaches sufficient interest, the Maison commits to launching the model into production within 120 days of the affirmation notice sent to the collector. The Maison may delay this timeline if additional refinement, materials sourcing, or ethical reviews require more time, but will always notify the collector in writing.
Pre-order deposit requirement
To begin production, the Maison requires a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the confirmed purchase price. The deposit secures the collector’s place in the production queue and covers initial materials commitments. Until the deposit is received, no production work commences and the Maison reserves the right to reallocate capacity. The remaining balance becomes due according to the separate invoice issued ahead of the final acceptance of the completed timepiece.
Production, delivery, and notification
Once the Maison signals production readiness, the collector will receive regular updates through the curated dossier channel. Production timelines are estimates: the Maison endeavors to keep them within 120 days from the notice, but cannot be responsible for force majeure, supply-chain disruptions, or additional revisions requested by the collector. Delivery occurs through the agreed secure channel and begins after the full balance is cleared.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
All imagery, sketches, narratives, and dossiers are the Maison’s intellectual property. Collectors may not publish or reproduce Maison materials without prior written permission. Any confidential information shared during the inquiry or production process remains within the Maison and its vetted partners unless the collector expressly agrees otherwise.
Legal compliance and contact
Any dispute arising under these Terms of Use is governed by Maltese law. The Maison may be reached through the contact channels on this site for inquiries, dossier updates, or clarifications. The collector acknowledges that continued dialogue, deposit, or payment signifies acceptance of these terms.
